Benefizkonzert in Polch: Jubiläumsprogramm des Heeresmusikkorps

Apr 21, 2026

Polch

This event is taking place for the third time and is entirely dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the professional symphonic wind orchestra this year. Under the direction of Captain Holger Kolodziej, the audience can expect a varied program of classical works, modern compositions, and demanding original literature for symphonic wind orchestra. Friends of traditional march music will also find something to enjoy.
The Koblenz Army Music Corps was founded in 1956 and has been based at the Gneisenau Barracks since 1957. It is the oldest military band of the Bundeswehr and is affiliated with the Bundeswehr Military Music Center. Captain Kolodziej took over the musical direction in 2024, having previously worked with the Mountain Music Corps in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Staff Music Corps in Berlin.
The orchestra not only performs public concerts but also accompanies military ceremonies such as oaths of allegiance, change of command ceremonies, state receptions, serenades, and performances of the Grand Parade – primarily in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. Additionally, the music corps regularly appears internationally, for example at music festivals, tattoos, and for troop support for German units stationed abroad.

Tickets are now available: 15 euros in advance, 19 euros at the box office.
Available through ticket-regional.de, at the citizen's office of the Trimbs local community (Mondays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM) as well as in the citizen's office of the Maifeld municipal administration in Polch.
