Look forward to varied hikes, historic vehicles, live music, and regional specialties in a friendly atmosphere.  

Hiking, culture and vintage cars – Trimbs invites you to the Nette Schiefer Hiking Day on Whitsun

On Whitsun Sunday, May 24, 2026, Trimbs will once again be a meeting point for hiking enthusiasts, nature lovers, and fans of historic vehicles. As part of the 15th Nette Schiefer Hiking Day, visitors can expect a diverse program centered around the dream path "Nette-Schieferpfad" and the village square.

The day begins at 9:00 AM with an open-air church service before the hikes start at 10:00 AM. At the same time, the first tractors and vintage cars will arrive, which can be admired around the village square. The special combination of outdoor activity and nostalgic vehicle culture adds to the appeal of this event.

A highlight is the vintage car drive at 1:30 PM followed by a tractor parade, where the historic vehicles can also be seen in action.

Starting at 3:00 PM, a varied stage program promises great entertainment: The Hunsrück musicians from Lieg will bring musical vibes, while the jazz dance kids of TV 1911 Trimbs will showcase their skills.

Culinary delights are also in store for the day: From 11:30 AM, regional specialties such as the traditional Nette-Schiefer roast and other warm dishes will be available. For a sweet treat, homemade cakes from the local women's community's courtyard café will be offered.

Families with children can look forward to a tractor bouncy castle – weather permitting. The day will conclude in a sociable atmosphere with a twilight gathering at the beer fountain.
