The small town of Münstermaifeld with its imposing collegiate church towers high above the gently undulating hills of the Maifeld. A stroll through the narrow streets with their impressive courtyards and town houses leads back to an eventful history. A new signposted is a historic city tour that starts at the tourist information on Münsterplatz. There you also get a folding plan for the city tour. City tours take place every Sunday and public holiday at 2 p.m., from April to November 1. The meeting point is the tourist information.
This burial mound tells us about a family that lived almost 2,000 years ago in the area that is now the Osteifel Volcano Park. The people lived in a manor nearby and farmed successfully.
This "Bound" is a kind of an interactive digital rally. You need a smartphone on which you can download the "Actionbound" app for free. The bound "Experience the forest" is then loaded onto the smartphone, so that no internet is required on site.

High towers, picturesque oriels, protective walls and a deep castle moat amaze visitors when the well-preserved medieval castle appears out of nowhere on one of the hiking trails - e.g. the award-winning dream trail "Eltzer Burgpanorama". The interior holds some well-preserved treasures: the imposing knights' hall, the armoury and treasure chamber or the bedrooms, living rooms and writing rooms. All this can be experienced on a guided tour between April and November.
