The Erlebnisfreibad Münstermaifeld (Outdoor swimming Pool) invites you to refresh yourself in the cool water in summer. The swimmer pool with five diving blocks invites to sporty training rounds, while the leisure pool with double slide and massage jets offers carefree bathing pleasure. Small children can have fun in the children's adventure pool with slide. The spacious lawn, which also provides healthy shade with its trees, offers relaxation with a wonderful view of the Maifeld.

Built in 1575 in the Renaissance style. Allegorical figures of Justitia and Veritas. Relief of a man with a scythe, ears of corn, and a cornucopia. Münstermaifeld has been the seat of the district since the 13th century and was merged with the Polch district into the Maifeld community in 1970 as part of the administrative reform.

The chapel in neo-Gothic style was donated by the citizens of the town. A wayside shrine stood at the site before.

High towers, picturesque oriels, protective walls and a deep castle moat amaze visitors when the well-preserved medieval castle appears out of nowhere on one of the hiking trails - e.g. the award-winning dream trail "Eltzer Burgpanorama". The interior holds some well-preserved treasures: the imposing knights' hall, the armoury and treasure chamber or the bedrooms, living rooms and writing rooms. All this can be experienced on a guided tour between April and November.

The tower, also known as the Owl Tower, is the only completely preserved tower of the city fortifications and was used as a prison for a long time.
